Volunteerism & Charity Society
Members of this society identify and take part in volunteering activities for the local community, as well as plan and run charitable events (for example, fundraising for charities, the Kings bake sales to raise funds for school equipment, Valentine’s Day fundraising flowers, etc.).
Social Media Society
This society is responsible for producing content for the Kings social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Under the guidance of the Society Leader, they identify themes, seek approval to record, edit, and submit content to the Social Media Manager for uploading according to an agreed schedule.
Early Years/Primary Classroom Support Society
This society supports teachers by offering activities such as reading, homework support, games, and creative projects to younger students during Period 7 on Fridays. This helps older students to feel part of the wider school community, gain valuable interpersonal skills, and be seen as role models by younger students.
Digital Newsletter Society
This society is responsible for planning, writing, editing, and publishing the monthly Kings Life digital newsletter for students and parents. Members can choose to be writers, picture editors, content editors, or magazine designers. Assembly societies will also have a column each to share their activities / successes.
Events Society
This society is responsible for planning and running any school events and theme days (theme days: International Lego Day, Valentine’s Day, Science Day, World Book Day (Primary only) | Events: Easter, International Day, Children’s Day (Primary only), Sports Day, and End of Year Ceremony). This society will work in collaboration with the Student Council.
